Oregon barely escaped Berkeley with a win, as Cal kicker Giorgio Tavecchio nullified his own 24-yard kick with a false start, and then proceeded to miss a 29-yarder. Needless to say those three points could have helped the Bears, who went on to lose 15-13. Yes that’s right, the Ducks were held to 15 points! Next up we take a look at Auburn, as the two hundred thousand dollar man, Cam Newton, started at quarterback for the Tigers and led them to a come-from-behind victory against Georgia. TCU also

Former Ducks Say Oregon Will Flock To BCS

The proverb has been used since at least the mid-16th century when the saying, “Brydes of on kynde and color flok and flye allwayes together,” as William Turner wrote back in his 1545 satire, The Rescuing of Romish Fox.

Jump ahead to the 21st century and it translates to, “Birds of a feather flock together.” This holds true for some former Oregon Ducks who now play in the NFL. Following the Sunday night game between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers, former Oregon safety Patrick Chung and quarterback Dennis Dixon shared a hello and talked some Oregon Ducks football.
