Oakland Raiders: Team Needs Rookie Review On The Clock Insider Podcast

2010 NFL Draft Class–

(1-8) Rolando McClain, ILB, Alabama: The big linebacker had an introductory season in the NFL that was a mixed bag. While he did make a number of vicious hits (see Amendola, Danny), at times McClain appeared slow and unable to get off blocks. The Silver and Black can take solace in the fact that McClain ended his season on a high note, as evidenced by a dominant performance versus San Diego in which he read and attacked numerous running plays. The young enforcer must also do a better job of staying out of trouble off the field. Grade: C
