USU’s Curtis Marsh Invited To Under Armour Senior Bowl:

First USU Player Selected To All-Star Game Since 2008, First Aggie In Senior Bowl Since 2004
<br LOGAN, Utah Utah State football player Curtis Marsh has accepted an invitation to the 2011 Under Armour Senior Bowl.  The 2011 game is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. (MT) in Mobile, Ala., at Ladd-Peebles Stadium and will be televised live by the NFL Network.

“It is a tremendous honor.  I am just really excited to get a chance to play with some of the top guys in the country and show that I deserve to be there.  It feels amazing; I am really excited,” Marsh said.

New Orleans Saints Danny Clark and the Danny Clark Foundation Provided Shopping Spree for Underprivileged Children

NEW ORLEANS – December 16, 2010 – Veteran linebacker Danny Clark of the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday hosted the popular “Shop with a Jock” event for over 50 youth from Kingsley House, a school dedicated to improving lives of families in the New Orleans community.

Clark and the Danny Clark Foundation along with Saints teammates, Marvin Mitchell, Lance Moore, Pierson Prioleau, Jimmy Wilkerson, Usama Young, and Roger Allen gave the youth a wonderful Christmas by providing $100 gift cards and the ability to shop with a Saints player, both a dream come true for the participating children.

SMU 30-for-30: We Ask Emmanuel Sanders

Many of you are familiar with the ESPN’s 30 for 30 series. Last week’s episode, “Pony Excess,” was directed by Thaddeus D. Matula and brought the viewer up close and personal with the self-inflicted destruction of the SMU football program during the mid-1980s.

The Mustangs of Southern Methodist University (SMU) have three players currently in the NFL: Bryan McCann of the Dallas Cowboys, Thomas Morstead of the New Orleans Saints, and Emmanuel Sanders of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

ESPN could play these 30 for 30’s and I could hunker down and hibernate over the winter and watch them over and over again, especially the shows that involve college football like “The Best That Never Was” or “The U.”
