QB Case Keenum, Houston – A week after suffering a head injury while trying to make a tackle, Houston’s Keenum was cleared to play…only to be lost for the season after tearing an ACL, again while attempting to make a tackle following an interception. To make matters worse for the Cougars, backup Cotton Turner also went down for the season after his clavicle was broken. Houston finished the game with third-string quarterback Terrance Broadway. The 18-year-old quarterback was five of eight for 84 yards and a touchdown.
RB Mario Fannin, Auburn – The Auburn tailback injured his shoulder during Auburn’s week two Thursday
