Team Preview: Syracuse Orangemen

Special guest contributor Dan Orlando previews prospects of note for the 2011 Syracuse Orangemen.

Antwon Bailey
Senior Antwon Bailey came into his own in 2010 as a dangerous compliment to 4th round draft pick, Delone Carter.  His quick feet, impressive blocking, and reliable hands make him an ideal 3rd down back.  At 5’7 and just under 200 lbs, Bailey’s effectiveness may suffer a decline.  Without a thicker up-the-middle option in Delone Carter as the main workhorse, Bailey will have to carry a heavier load alongside a 10 pound lighter and two seasons younger Prince Tyson-Gulley.  Even if Bailey remains the 2nd option at RB, his blocking skills and niftiness in the open field could garner serious attention at the next level.
