A first team All-Pac-10 selection by the conference coaches, Casey Matthews was pivotal in leading the Oregon Ducks to their first BCS Championship game. During his senior campaign, Matthews started all 13 games at middle linebacker and was the Pac-10 co-leader with three fumble recoveries and the team’s top tackler with 73 stops.
