The Cowboys marched into Austin with something to prove versus a Longhorn team they hadn’t beaten on the road since 1944. Mike Gundy’s boys not only defeated Texas, they outclassed them at every position and in every aspect of the game, as a dejected legion home team fans cleared out early during a 33-16 romp.

Former Yankee pitches a gem

Former New York Yankee farmhand Brandon Weeden is undoubtedly one of the best stories of the college football season considering how he is making his gridiron dreams come true after a failed baseball career at the ripe old age of 27.

Weeden masterfully sliced and diced a number-two ranked Texas pass defense to the tune of 409 yards, showing outstanding poise, accuracy and arm strength throughout.
