Scout’s Notebook: Michigan State @ Iowa

In a game that featured two of the top quarterbacks in the nation, there was only one that put forth a great performance, and that was Ricky Stanzi. The Iowa defense smothered the Spartans all game long and intercepted Kirk Cousins three times to complete a convincing win over the previously undefeated Spartans. Although the Michigan State defense played fairly well, they could not keep the Hawkeyes out of the end zone. Now the Big Ten is jumbled at the top with four teams with one loss in conference play, which should make for an exciting finish.
