(1-13) Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan: The undersized rush end was effective early on by showing his explosiveness off the edge, as well as using his forceful bull rush technique to wreak havoc on the opposition. However, the former Wolverine couldn’t sustain his good play due to shoulder and ankle injuries. Graham would later sustain a torn ACL. Grade: C+
(2-37) Nate Allen, FS, USF: It didn’t take long for the free safety to thrust himself into the starting lineup. He flashed great awareness and cornerback-like coverage skills as a rookie but he still tends to get sloppy in his technique and isn’t the big hitter that somebody like Brian Dawkins once was. Grade: B
