ATHENS, Ga. — Head coach Mark Richt and several football players addressed the media during the Bulldogs’ first press luncheon. They offered the following comments:

Opening statement…
“Everybody’s here. Everybody reported last night ready to go. Basically half of our offensive unit was walking through assignments and the other half was working in the weight room, and the same thing was going on defensively—half the guys were walking through the defensive assignments and the other half were in the weight room and then they would flip about 45 minutes into it. Then there will be a 15-minute walk-through for special teams. What we are going to cover today which is our pride team, punt team. Of course we will have our first practice a little later on today. This is where we are at right now.
