Draft Watch: Secondary A Major Need For Eagles

The Eagles traded linebacker Chris Gocong, along with longtime starting corner Sheldon Brown, the last remaining defensive starter from the Birds’ Super Bowl XXXIX team, getting back linebacker Alex Hall, along with fourth- and fifth-round picks, 105th and 137th overall, in the April 22-24 draft.

Draft Impact:
The youth movement continues in Philadelphia as the Eagles look to get younger and Donovan McNabb is likely not too far behind. We have seen the Eagles secondary decline with age over the past several years and obtaining a cornerback will be a top priority in the draft. The agent for Adams says three teams have already contacted him to express interest.
