The next journey for Iowa wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos a.k.a. “DJK” awaits after being undrafted during the 2011 NFL Draft.
The Hawkeyes all-time leader in receptions and receiving yardage was suspended from the team after pleading guilty to drug possession in December, forcing him to miss the Insight Bowl.
The arrest hovered over his head, as the NFL did not extend an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine in February, yet another failed opportunity to get a chance to impress in front of scouts.
