Dantin to Page Gives Toledo Hope

Toledo, Ohio – “Yes it was a big disappointment,” Toledo headman Tim Beckman said after Friday’s 41-2 loss to Arizona. “We’re extremely young at the quarterback and wide receiver position. We have to go back and look at film and correct our mistakes. We stubbed our foot a few times with penalties or a negative play. Their defense caused a lot of that and played very well.”

Although the connection between Austin Dantin and Eric Page was not made as often as Coach Beckman would have liked in week one against the Arizona Wildcats, Toledo Rocket fans should still be excited about their sophomore one-two punch. The duo connected four times against the Pac-10 school for 43 yards with a 24-yard completion the longest play from scrimmage for the Rockets on the day.
