Bulldogs Return To Practice As G-Day Approaches

ATHENS, Ga. The Georgia football team held its 12th practice of the spring with a two-hour workout in hot and hazy conditions Tuesday at the Woodruff Practice Fields.

It was the first practice since last weekend’s scrimmage at Sanford Stadium and Georgia’s final workout in full pads until G-Day on Saturday.

“Today was about what I thought it would be,” head coach Mark Richt said. “It was one of our longer practices and by far the hottest practice. I knew it was going to be a grind and it was going to be tough mentally and physically to push through. I thought they did a pretty good job considering all those things. It was not the most crisp of practices, but considering the heat I thought they did a pretty good job.”
