1. West Virginia Mountaineers 1-0, (0-0): Last week: Win vs. Coastal Carolina 31-0 Quarterback Geno Smith was on point in the opener, completing 20 of 27 passes for 216 yards. Smith converted eight first downs among those 20 completions. With all the skill players they have on offense, West Virginia is deserving of the number one spot, even if it is by default.
