Week 7 was a strange one. The quarterback shuffle was the order of the day, and a “miracle” happened in Miami. Ugly games, record-setting individual efforts, embarrassing team performances, a game on another continent…yes, week 7 had it all.
The Jets won a game they had to win, a 27-21 come-from-behind victory over the Chargers at MetLife Stadium. I swear, the next big game San Diego wins will be their first. They blew an 11-point lead twice by: not scoring in the second half, giving up 162 yards on the ground to a struggling Jets’ rushing attack, committing 11 penalties, and having a quarterback that continues to disappoint this season. Philip Rivers has been mediocre at best and was much less than that against the Jets. He was 16-32 for 179 yards, with a TD and two INTs. He was especially dreadful at the
