After many weeks of effort, football’s labor issues seem positive and we are now ready to fill the 2011 leagues. Are you ready for your draft?

Our free YOUTH FANTASY FOOTBALL is returning for a 15th season. We are a no-cost site devoted to the younger fans of our hobby. We accept all youths ages 10 to 17 for no-cost FF activity. Members are assigned to leagues by age and experience level to create competitive groupings. We will do everything help you get the most enjoyment by sharing our hobby with you.

NFL: Asomugha Lands With Eagles | 5yrs $60M

The Philadelphia Eagles have won the Nnamdi Asomugha sweepstakes, signing the All Pro cornerback to a 5-year deal worth between $60-62M with $25M guaranteed. The Eagles seem to be #winning during the early start of the offseason landing cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie via trade, signing defensive end Jason Babin and adding quarterback Vince Young to backup Mike Vick.

Austintown Fitch Falcons have not one but two out standing wide receivers both Demitrious Davis and Chris Davis who are making their way to the BIG East after their senior season in high school. The dynamic duo are committing to Pitt to play for the Panthers and new head coach Todd Graham.  Austintown, Ohio’s high school version of the Barber’s both Tiki and Ronde who both played in the National Football League, the twin brother’s are well aware of Graham’s style of offense and know he likes to spread the ball around.  Graham said early when taking over the program “we’ll be the most explosive team in the country.” With Graham’s eye on making the offense go both Demitrious and Chris should flourish in their roles with the Panthers. Hens Named Pre-Season All-Americans

PHILADELPHIA The University of Delaware football squad continued to haul in pre-season accolades this week as senior Gino Gradkowski and sophomore Andrew Pierce were both named to The Sports Network Pre-Season All-American team.

The pre-season TSN team consisted of 84 players on three teams led by 11 returning players who were voted to the All-America first team at the end of the 2010 regular season by a national panel of sports information and media relations directors, broadcasters, writers and other dignitaries. Defending national champion Eastern Washington and national semifinalist Georgia Southern each placed five players on the pre-season squad.
