Goodell: “Five Teams Possibly Violated Rules”

According to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell:

1) “A total of five (NFL) teams have been contacted about possibly violating the rules currently in place stating that there is to be no interaction between players, coaches and other staff members… the possible result of any teams violating the current rules would be fines only according to the commissioner.”

2) “Rookie 1st round draft picks will not be allowed to fly back to their new teams facilities in order to hold press conferences or any type of meet-and-greet with team officials, which has become the norm in the hours and days following recent NFL Drafts”.

3) “Rookie players will not be allowed to have any contact with their new teams once they are drafted meaning that although not discussed formally there may be a call now from a NFL league office
