Junior Patrick Peterson Makes SR Bowl Rounds

Watching Monday’s North team practice at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, the NFL Draft Bible had the chance to talk with Test Sports Performance founder and CEO, Brian Martin. We discussed some of the athletes he had training at Test’s two facilities, one up north in New Jersey and one down south in Boca Raton, Florida, for the game this coming weekend for the Under Armour Senior Bowl. Among the players he mentioned was Patrick Peterson.

“He’s down here working out,” Martin reveled.

No, there isn’t another Patrick Peterson. A glance at the roster sheet reveled there wasn’t a player with the last name of Peterson to be found. No late addition from a small school with the same name as the LSU Tigers star. As it

On Location: Senior Bowl South Recap | Day 4

MOBILE, AL–On location stock report from the South team’s fourth practice at the 2011 Senior Bowl.

↑CHARLES CLAY – RB – TULSA: While most people see Clay as an H-Back or tight end, he’s done a lot of things very well and because of his size/speed combination he’ll be able to factor in as a pass catcher.  Clay has good hands, tracks the ball well, and knows how to run routes. He will not be in high demand come draft day, but he’ll contribute to an NFL team with his instincts and hands.

↑KRISTOFER O’DOWD – C – USC: O’Dowd has played well at center this week and while he’s not the most athletic interior lineman out here, he’s shown excellent technique firing off the ball. He can

On Location: Senior Bowl North Recap | Day 4

MOBILE, AL–On location stock report from the North team’s fourth practice at the 2011 Senior Bowl. There wasn’t a lot to glean from today’s practice as far as defensive and offensive linemen are concerned, but there were a few players that made the best of today’s no-pads practice.

↑DEMARCO MURRAY – RB – OKLAHOMA: Murray was able to show off what he does best today—catching the ball out of the backfield. He has run the ball well and has a lot of explosion but he was killing it in the seven-on-seven drills, as well as in one-on-one drills. He does it all with his great route running ability, over the shoulder catches, and away-from-the-body receptions. He has been having a great week but was especially impressive today.
